Saturday of words with #LDF13 at the V&A
We had such a creative Type Tasting weekend of drop in workshops beneath our exhibition of words at the V&A with the London Design Festival. The question we’ve been asking everybody is “what’s your creative London?” and here are some of the responses created on Saturday.

Type Tasting newspaper now online
The Type Tasting newspaper documenting the submissions on display with the London Design Festival at the V&A is now online—complete with Ralph Steadman‘s inky letterpress print on the front cover.
Sarah, we decided to give it a shot and we’re sending our entry in the attachment. The word we chose was “Unexpected” (we checked to see it was available). The typeface is our own (Kristal). The ornaments are composed of its characters.

“The green lines that you see show the gravity field. The viewing film shows the magnetic field of the paper and it is that that makes the font unique. The power of nature!
