An afternoon with Caroline and the girls getting inky creating typographic baby grows to welcome baby B. The workshop took an hour, the baby grows are 100% cotton and we printed with non toxic fabric paints.

We recently took our box of creative materials and words down to the London Design Festival offices for an evening of creative unwinding. Things are getting pretty busy as the Festival is getting closer, the Guide is going to print and the events are being finalised. An evening of making ‘creative London’ words accompanied by cold beer was just what we all needed.

Bárbara Ana Gómez is a Spanish illustrator who moved to London in 2007. Her Type Tasting submission ‘Celebration’ is an intricate combination of flowing shapes and mischievous faries which were sketched out by hand before being ounlined in pen and ink then scanned in and coloured up in Photoshop.
