Michelle Loa Kum Cheung is a fine artist, specialising in painting and drawing of landscape, nature and architectural forms, with interests in typography and design. She recently moved from Australia to London to experience the dynamic art and design scene of Europe. She likes the precision, order and communicative potential of symbols, shapes and patterns – a way of thinking that could be prescribed to how letters form words in language. Her hobbies include craft, cooking, card making and gymnastics and when she was young she wanted to be a full-time hand writer.
