For those of us living in cities with too much light pollution to see the real Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), here’s the urban version viewed through misty bus windows on a rainy Friday evening.
The typography on the signs has been abstracted by the raindrops and the misty bus window, but you still get a glimpse of it here and there.
The Aurora Borealis has been giving rare and spectacular displays over parts of the UK, from the north of Scotland to as far south as Jersey. The lights have also been visible in places such as Essex, Gloucestershire, Norfolk and south Wales.
